Character Points (CP) are a resource used strictly through the Mechanical Creation section of generating a character.  CP is also awarded to the character at the end of every Chapter, and is the primary method for advancing the character throughout the Saga.

Starting CP (200)

The Sage determines how many Character Points the players have to generate their character.  This value is largely influenced by the kind of campaign they are wanting to manage. 200 cp is the standard amount of CP allotted for most Sagas.  It is recommended for the first Saga you embark on, and should be considered the “default.”
